About CLOK and how to join
If you have enjoyed your orienteering and would like to do more, then you should join your local club, The Cleveland Orienteering Klub.
The Cleveland Orienteering Klub (CLOK) serves to promote and organise the sport of orienteering in the Cleveland, North Yorkshire and South Durham areas. It is a large and welcoming club, with members ranging in age from 7 to 70 years and in ability from novice to international orienteers.
Joining CLOK as a local member will let you:
You can either join as just a local member of CLOK which entitles you to all of the above, or you can be a full member of the British Orienteering Federation as well, which means you can enter events all across the country and also compete in the British Championships. Membership fees are currently as follows (as at 1st November 1999):
